DISI 2016The International Computer Security Day will be held on November 11, 2016 at the Federal Institute of Brasilia (IFB) in the city of Brasilia-DF. Each edition of the event are addressed issues related to a specific topic of great interest to all end-user computers, in order to promote good practices related to information security. The lectures are free, open to the public and transmitted in real time in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The University Corporation for Internet Development (CUDI), Microsoft and e-ABC Learning invite you to participate in the one-hour online seminar, which will explain how to use Office 365 tools with Moodle in Azure. The webinar will be held next Friday, November 11, at 11:00 am from Mexico City (17:00 GMT).

Held in Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB), campus of Brasília, the event is aimed at Science, Technology and Innovation in Network and has partnership with State Secretary Council for Science, Technology and Innovation Affairs (Consecti).

Kampala - UbuntuNet Connect 2016Under the title "Optimising the Impact of NRENs on Africa's Research", and from 30 October 2016 to 4 November 2016, the city of Kampala (Uganda) will recieve the members of the UbuntuNet Alliance for its annual conference, which will be hosted by  the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU). As in the previous conference, held in 2015 in Maputo (Mozambique), MAGIC will be part of the plenary sessions programme.
