The sixth edition of the TICAL Conference, held from September 13 to 15 in Buenos Aires, was one of the highlights of the latest version of the bulletin of the Association of University Interconnection Networks (ARIU) in Argentina. The organization interviewed Christian O'Flaherty - ISOC representative - and Guillermo Cicileo - LACNIC SSR Coordinator - on the Plenary Session "Opportunities for Universities in the Internet Ecosystem" held during the event.
Throughout the year of 2016, the MAGIC project left marks wherever it went, benefiting the scientific community around the world with its mobility and real-time collaboration projects, global science communities, among others. Participating in a project of this proportion also greatly impacts its collaborators and associates. So, what will it be like to participate in MAGIC from inside? How important is the project in the eyes of those who do it?
The meeting will be held on 14 December 2016 starting from 13h00 UTC/GMT where officers from the European Commission and practitioners involved in similar projects will talk about opportunities that exist under this call.
