Under the title "Optimising the Impact of NRENs on Africa's Research", and from 30 October 2016 to 4 November 2016, the city of Kampala (Uganda) will recieve the members of the UbuntuNet Alliance for its annual conference, which will be hosted by  the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU). As in the previous conference, held in 2015 in Maputo (Mozambique), MAGIC will be part of the plenary sessions programme.

The activity will count with nine speakers and online transmission with simultaneous audio in Spanish for Latin America and the Caribbean. This is possible with the collaboration of TEDxCERN partners: Latin America-Europe Anilla Cultural in Uruguay, RedCLARA, RedCUDI (Mexico), LACNIC and Internet House of Latin America and the Caribbean. On-line registration is already available.
