TANDEM aims at supporting the dialogue between the EU and National Research and Educational Networks (NRENs) from Africa with special attention to Western and Central Africa.

• Obtain political and financial support for WACREN (West and Central African Research and Education Network) for the network implementation and ensure its sustainability.
• Raise awareness among the researchers and academic users of e-Infrastructures services about the benefits of NREN services.
• Collect the needs of the End Users (researchers and academic users) of e-Infrastructures services and identify services tailored to their requirements.
• Elaborate a roadmap to meet the needs of End Users and taking into account policy, financial, regulatory and technical constraints.
• Develop and strengthen the NREN community.
