The Mconf, multiconferencing web platform funded by the Brazilian National Research and Educational Network (RNP) and incorporated by RedCLARA as VC Espresso in Colaboratorio, has been recommended as a communications solution for African academic networks, during the annual conference UbuntuNet-Connect 2015, held on November 19 and 20 in Mozambique.
The event, to be held through videoconference, will include in its agenda the participation of speakers from Latin America, Europe and Africa. The deadline for the registration is December 14th, 2015.
African research and education network associations the UbuntuNet Alliance, ASREN and WACREN have partnered with their European counterpart GÉANT in a €26.6m EU co-funded project to provide dedicated high-speed internet all over Africa: Africa Connect 2.
Florencio Utreras is part of the program committee of the conference, which will be held between December 7 and 8, in Casablanca.
