Microsoft, asociado empresarial de RedCLARA, y la Red Académica Peruana (RAAP) invitan a participar del Workshop de Análisis Predictivo utilizando Azure Machine Learning y PowerBI, que se realizará el jueves 10 y viernes 11 de marzo de 2016, en la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), Campus Monterrico, Santiago de Surco, Lima.

The Internet Addresses Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean (LACNIC) and ETECSA (Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S.A.) are pleased to announce that LACNIC's upcoming event, LACNIC 25, will be held in the city of Havana. The meeting will take place on 2-6 May at Havana's Palacio de Convenciones and will bring together the Latin American and Caribbean Internet community.

In 2016, the TICAL community cycle of thematic meetings will begin with the presentation of the inter-institutional projects presented in TICAL2015. The first one, scheduled for March 17th, at 15h UTC, invites the entire academic community to meet and join the "Semantic Repository of Researchers" project. The activity will be held by video conference and registration is now open.

The first Interactive Tele-Meeting: Web online audiovisual platforms for scientific communication in Ibero-America will take place this Thursday, February 25th, 2016, at 15:00h GTM. The event is part of the activities of BICC 2016 Ronda- Madrid, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of ASECIC (1966-2016).

Under the title of Middleware for collaborative Applications and Global vIrtual Communities, the MAGIC project started its two year race in May 1st, 2015, and with the participation of 19 NRENs and RENs from all over the world, and the powerfull commitment of their representatives, translated into many hours of work, after 10 months the project results certainly demonstrate that the only way of growing together is by collaborating. 

The MAGIC Project invites to participate in this first activity on Remote Instrumentation which will be carried out in February 25th through the desktop videoconference system, VC Espresso, available in the collaborative platform, Colaboratorio.
