Seeking to consolidate its development and the collaboration among the institutions that make it up, Mexico's University Cooperation for the Development of the Internet (RedCUDI) has defined its governing body for the coming years after meetings held on June 28th.

At the time, Lic. Carlos Casasús and Dr. Luis Alberto Gutiérrez Díaz de León were re-elected as General Director and President of the Cooperation Directive Council, respectively, after the meeting of CUDI’s Assembly.

At the meeting of the Board of Directors, held on the same date, Dr. Oscar Cárdenas Hernández, of the University of Guadalajara (UDG), was appointed unanimously for the period 2017-2018 as Chairman of the Committee on Applications and Assignment of Funds; Dr. Raúl Rivera Rodríguez, from the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada (CICESE), as Chairman of the Members Committee; and. Lourdes Velázquez Pastrana, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), as Chair of the Network Development Committee.
