Call to apply for new Working Groups in the RedCLARA community technology field

RedCLARA Technical Committee (CT-CLEAR) in conjunction with RedCLARA and its associated networks invite to apply for the third call for the creation of Working Groups. Are request to participate members of the academic community part of RedCLARA whose work relates to the areas of interest in the technology community.

RedCLARA WGIn order to contribute to the development of networks and deployment of new pilots network services interesting for RedCLARA and the associated NREN, as well as to support the transfer of knowledge between the NREN, since 2005 has take place a work focused in a program of Working Groups linked to the area of technology and networks of the regional academic community.

The objective of the program of working groups is to promote interaction between RedCLARA activities and research groups from the participating institutions of the community, and also to contribute with the promotion of continuous innovation in the network services and applications. Through this program will be develop collaborative projects that demonstrate the feasibility of using new protocols, applications and services. Besides the growth of RedCLARA and its associated networks, present challenges of how to take advantage of better services infrastructure that enhance research spaces in different areas, this is the space that attempts to be cover by the Working Groups.

Any member of the RedCLARA academic community whose work relates to the areas of interest in the technology community can propose a Working Group, for this is necessary to read the reference terms and follow the directions listed there.

Second period 2009-2011:

IPTV

Applications of the WGs should follow the guidelines indicated in the document "Terms of Reference." (Only in Spanish)

Applications should be sent to gts2011@redclara.net deadline May 11 at 12:00 GMT. The results will be announced in late May so that the WGs can start the activities on June 1st.
