RENATA will transmit ANDICOM ICT 2010 International Congress

AndicomFor the third consecutive year, RENATA joins the effort to spread the plenary lectures and keynote of this conference, which theme is: "Networks, services and content: The business of the next decade in Latin America."

Today starts the 25th International Conference ICT ANDICOM in Colombia, and will be shared for the entire Latin American community through the Colombian national Network RENATA. RedCLARA members will have access to live lectures in the Main Academic Forum due to its link with RENATA.

RENATA will transmit this event for the third consecutive year. The talks will be held from 27 to 29 October and all will be available online. According to official information of the NREN, the effort involves working together, production and sponsorship, with Armadillo Media Audiovisual and Digital Media.

The axis of the event will be the topics of "Network, services and content: The business of the next decade in Latin America" and develop up to six concurrent sessions. Hence, the activity will be wide and is expected to involve stakeholders throughout the world. The entire international community can access RENATA connected with the International Congress, express concerns, participate in forums, contact speakers and have an enriching experience interactively.

This year, the International Congress will be attended in line with the technological industry leaders in Colombia who also give their input on the challenges facing the region to generate innovation worldwide.

Although the proposal involves connecting to the participants via the Internet, the activity will have a physical space in the International Convention Centre & Hotel Las Americas in this country. The academic sessions will focus on global trends in technology, business opportunities, the latest trends and developments in the political landscape that exists as an influential aspect of scientific development in Latin America.

It is expected to connect the 120 institutions that are linked to Colombian RENATA and entities connected models RedCLARA countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. It is expected that the direct benefit of Congress ANDICOM 2010 comes, directly, teachers, researchers, students and people involved in innovation.

Among the topics to be developed and that are transmitted by RENATA: Stimulating the ICT industry with a vision of high performance, business opportunities in the next decade in Latin America, political and economic landscape over the next decade in Latin America, Trends, the crossroads of TELCOS, Cooperation between Latin America and the European Community, among others.
