July 22, FP7 InfoDay on Environment and Transport

Looking after the 2011 call of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), the meeting of July 22 will be held by videoconference and will serve to dispel doubts in regard to the thematic areas of environment and transport. In July 19 the first session -devoted to the FP7 People Programme and 'Food, Agriculture, Fisheries and Biotechnologies'- was carried out; July 27 is the final date for these sessions and it will be referred to the fields of 'Health' and 'Information and Communication Technologies'. If you want to participate, please contact Hugo Vecino and María José López (both from CLARA) by email. The videos of the session of July 19th, can be seen on line following these URLs: https://200.130.35.6/tcs/?id=D3ECCE8C-F245-4F77-88AF-359329401F27 (first part) and https://200.130.35.6/tcs/?id=5D9B2A55-9542-4A2D-A6B4-C06EDFCE58B9 (second part).

Following the successful call of the FP7 InfoDay for e-Infrastructures, held in July 8th, three sessions (download the program in PDF) have been coordinated with the European Commission in order to provide the possibility of clear doubts regarding the future FP7 calls (2011) to the CLARA community and to the broad scientific and research communities of Latin America.

The session of July 22nd will serve to analyze the cooperation opportunities in the areas of 'Environment, including climate change' and ' Transport, including aeronautics'. Those who wish to participate in the activity by videoconference must contact Hugo Vecino, CLARA Projects Engineer, by email (hugo.vecino-pico@redclara.net) with copy to María José López, CLARA PR and Communications Manager (maria-jose.lopez@redclara.net).

On line transmission:
The Colombian NREN, RENATA, and the Chilean NREN, REUNA, will stream the FP7 videoconferences through their websites (it is recommended to upload your video player and apply Windows Media 11).
