Public Consultation eLAC2015 - A new Regional Action Plan

Following the progress of the Regional Action Plan eLAC2010, launched in 2008, Latin America and the Caribbean need a new digital agenda that will help to develop a sustainable information society, competitive, innovative and inclusive, as part of the efforts to reduce poverty, inequality and social exclusion, in line with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

In order to set future priorities for developing the Information Society in Latin America and the Caribbean on the basis of a broad regional consensus, at the ECLAC's SOCINFO Programme, ECLAC has prepared an online survey open to all experts in information technology and communications (ICT).

All questions are voluntary and multiple-choice and the survey should take no more than 15 minutes.

Results will be published on the website of ECLAC's SOCINFO Programme, and will only release the names of the participating institutions, but never associated with their responses.

This survey will be enabled until July 16th, 2010.

ECLAC invites all experts and passionate about ICT to answer the survey to be part of a broad consensus in the development of the next regional agenda, eLAC2015: building inclusive and innovative digital societies.
