The European Union (EU), under its Global Gateway strategy, and the Cybersec cluster invite you to a series of webinars focused on analyzing the advantages and risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI) in Central America and the Caribbean. This series aims to provide informed and practical guidance for the conscious and safe use of this technology.

The program includes three key sessions: on Tuesday, September 10, an inaugural session on the modern origins of AI and its impact on contemporary societies; on Tuesday, September 17, an analysis of AI’s benefits and risks, focusing on privacy and ethics, presented by an expert in the field; and on Tuesday, September 24, a cybersecurity conference where a specialist will offer recommendations for the safe use of AI, addressing issues such as protection against fraud and scams.

Participation is free and open to the general public, including students, professionals, educators, and public officials. These events will cover Central America and the Caribbean.
