July 18, 15:00 GMT: EU Space Webinar “Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE): Practical Demonstration”

The European Earth Observation Programme, Copernicus, invites the research and education networking community in Latin America and the Caribbean to participate in the Webinar "The Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE): Practical Demonstration", to be held on Thursday 18 July, at 17h CEST (15h GMT).

The event is the first CDSE webinar dedicated to the Spanish-speaking audience and will count with the participation of Jaume Royo, CDSE GIS/Remote Sensing Expert, who will provide an overview of the functioning of the CDSE and will guide participants step-by-step in the exploration of data with Copernicus Browser.

The Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem was launched in January 2023 as a next step in the evolution of Earth Observation data services. It replaces the Copernicus Open Access Hub which ceased operations in November 2023. The ecosystem offers immediate access to large amounts of open and free Earth Observation data from the Copernicus Sentinel satellites, including both new and historical Sentinel images and selected data sets from Copernicus Services. It empowers users with the tools and resources they need to unlock the full potential of Copernicus data.
