The Latin American University Telemedicine Network (RUTE-AL) will host a webinar series on June 12th titled "Health for Indigenous Peoples," an initiative dedicated to addressing and promoting health in indigenous communities of Latin America.
This event will also provide a platform to discuss the health needs of indigenous peoples, share knowledge, and explore sustainable solutions that respect ancestral traditions and knowledge.
Andrea Cáceres, a Communication Analyst from the Sustainability and Social Responsibility Area of the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia (CEDIA), will lead the moderation.
Among the panelists are Fabián León, pharmaceutical biochemist and teaching researcher at the University of Cuenca, Ecuador; Fabián Mena, medical specialist and master in Acupuncture and Moxibustion, lecturer at the Central University of Ecuador; and Isabel López Herrera, president of RUTE-Chile, a nursing graduate and nurse from the Austral University of Chile.
The event will take place at 1 PM in Mexico, 2 PM in Colombia and Ecuador, 3 PM in Chile, and 4 PM in Brazil.
