November 27, 14:30 GMT: "Child and Adolescent Health in the Americas" RUTE-AL Webinar

The health of the more than 200 million children and adolescents in the Americas is a major concern. Public policies are needed to promote healthy eating, physical activity, and violence prevention. It is also necessary to strengthen health systems so that all children and adolescents have access to the health services they need.

To discuss these issues and challenges, the University Telemedicine Network of Latin America, in collaboration with the National Networks of Chile (REUNA) and Mexico (CUDI), will hold the webinar "Child and Adolescent Health in the Americas" on Monday, November 27, at 14h30 GMT (11h30 in Chile / 08h30 in Mexico).

The event will be streamed live on RedCUDI's YouTube channel, with simultaneous translation into Portuguese. Dr. Evelyn Eisenstein, Professor and Coordinator of the SIG of Health and Medicine for Children and Adolescents of the University Network of Telemedicine / RUTE - BR and member of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics, and Dr. Maria Elena Ceballos Villegas, PhD in Research in Medicine from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, will participate in the event.

Participation in "Child and Adolescent Health in the Americas" is free but requires registration, which can be done using the QR code or by visiting https://redclara.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAtd-qvrj4rGNGhhl-bdgIhWK3GWmPK0PmX#/registration
