October 5 and 6: First Symposium of the Ibero-American Blockchain and Cybersecurity Network (RIBCI).
The Ibero-American Network of Blockchain and Cybersecurity - RedRIBCI, supported by CYTED and which is part of RedCLARA, invites all those interested to participate in its first Symposium, to be held on October 5 and 6.
On the occasion, various leading international professionals will share their experiences and provide their knowledge on intersectoral technology linkages, digital forensics, cybersecurity, blockchain, among others. The activity will be carried out in a hybrid way: some activities will take place in person at the premises of the Technological University of Panama and others will also be transmitted online at https://n9.cl/u75syl
RedCLARA will be represented by its Services Manager, Carlos Gonzalez, who will participate in one of the panels presenting the DIPLOMA Project - Issuance of verifiable university degrees using a Latin American regional academic trust registry. The initiative, which is based on blockchain, seeks to enable the issuance of verifiable digital diplomas for Latin American National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) and their partner institutions. The pilot conducted, which will be shown in this session, was developed as a test to facilitate the processes of labor inclusion, academic mobility and continuation of new phases of student training.
