The REUNA Digital Transformation Committee invites you to participate in the"Use of a Document Manager on the road to Zero Paper" Webinar, where prominent professionals from the University of Valparaíso (UV) will share their experience in this matter, which represents one of the challenges faced by Universities in their implementation processes of Law 21,180 on Digital Transformation of the State.

(Source: REUNA) This activity will take place this Thursday, July 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Chile time (2:00 p.m. GMT) and the speakers of the day will be Marco Aravena Vivar, general director of Modernization and Digital Transformation of the UV, and Víctor Ibaceta Riquelme, manager of the Support Unit and administrator of the GESDOC platform in the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the UV.

The use of the GESDOC Document Manager allows the sending, receiving and traceability of paper, digital or electronic files, implementing the life cycle of the documents. This facilitates formal communication within the institution, with a semi-structured flow model. In this way, the document management system not only contributes to the Zero Paper project of the University of Valparaíso as an institutional policy, but also reduces document processing times, minimizes loss and makes document movement transparent, safeguarding their confidentiality and integrity.
