July 6 to 12: Copernicus Events Marathon

A Copernicus event marathon will be held on July 6, 7, 8 and 12 - online and with free registration - with the aim of discussing applications of the programme in different areas.

The Marathon will have the participation of experts from the Copernicus Academy, the European Topic Centre, the University of Cantabria, Valencia, Malaga, the Junta de Castilla y la Mancha, Costa Rica and the Autonomous Government of Honduras, as well as the aerospace corporation GMV.

The session on Wednesday, July 6, will discuss the uses of Copernicus for agriculture. On the 7th, it will be the time of the forests. On Friday 8, the topic of discussion will be the uses of Copernicus for water resources. In addition to these sessions, the event will also host a session on Tuesday 12th on the needs, efforts and possibilities of Copernicus to support indigenous communities or native peoples, with the support of the Indigenous Council of Central America.
