The value and importance of identity federations, which enable academic collaboration across the globe, is the theme of the "Identity Federations - Why are they important and how to facilitate them?" webinar, by RedCLARA, with the support of RedCONARE (Costa Rica), which will take place this Thursday 4, at 3pm GMT.
In the meeting, to be held by Zoom, the ways of implementing a federation will be explained (using Shibboleth, SimpleSAMLphp, and the new RedCLARA Bridge IdP service.), providing participants with a clear path so that their institution can be part of these federations.
The invited experts are Dedra Chamberlin, founder and CEO of Cirrus Identity, and Fernando Osorto, Cirrus consultant and application developer at Duke University, in the United States.
