June 3, 9 PM GMT: "How to secure web systems with SSL / TLS" Webinar
The Superior School of Networks of México, training arm of the mexican advanced network, CUDI, will carry out this Wednesday, June 3, at 9pm GMT, the second session of its webinar cycle on Moodle and websites. The theme of the meeting is "How to secure web systems with SSL / TLS".
There will be four axes of discussion; namely:
1. Understanding HTTP and HTTPS
2. Digital Certificates for websites
3. The Let’s Encrypt Certification Entity
4. Get to work, a practical exercise
The webinar cycle is supported by the Ecuadorian advanced network (CEDIA) and the CSIRTs of both networks. Its main objective is to support CUDI member institutions in the training of human resources, executing training programs that are in accordance with the needs to respond the challenges generated by COVID-19 in universities. The next sessions will be "Technical optimization of the Moodle platform" (June 10) and "MySQL / MariaDB tuning and adjustments for web systems" (June 17)
