April 9: Webinar will gather CEOs of Latin American academic networks to discuss actions against Coronavirus
The executive directors of the National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) of Latin America and of RedCLARA, will be meeting next Thursday 9, in a virtual “round table”, organized by the Superior School of Networks of the brazilian NREN, RNP, to discuss the support of the NRENs to the actions of the governments in the fight against the Coronavirus and the impact that has had on the networks local operations the change from office to home office mode.
The virtual meeting will start at 17:00 GMT (2 pm in Brasilia) on RNP's web conferencing platform and will last 120 minutes, with live streaming on YouTubeNelson Simões (RNP - Brazil), Juan Pablo Carvallo (CEDIA - Ecuador), Carlos Gamboa (RedCONARE - Costa Rica), Benedicto Garcia (RedRUNBA - Nicarágua), Marco Antonio To (RAGIE - Guatemala), Paola Arellano (REUNA - Chile) and Luis Eliécer Cadenas (RedCLARA), will be participating in this activity.
The panel mediator will be Fabiola Bezerra, from RNP’s Communications Team. Remember that, in order to participate and send questions, it is necessary to register and engage through the RNP platform. Registration is free of charge.
