March 31: Wolfram "Computational Explorations on COVID-19" Webinar

Join us for a free Wolfram webinar this Tuesday, May 31, to share resources on COVID-19, including computational analysis and visualizations related to the pandemic. The speaker in charge will be Tomás de Camino-Beck, PhD in Mathematical Biology from the University of Alberta, M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica and B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Costa Rica.

Dr. de Camino-Beck has conducted research in the modeling of infectious diseases, biological invasion, and computational biology. He is a visitor professor at LEAD University in Costa Rica, and has taught at the Institute of Technology of Costa Rica, the University of Costa Rica and the Veritas University, subjects from art and design to mathematics and computer science. In 2008 he was awarded by the Society of Mathematical Biology with the best original scientific article, for his contribution to this field. He currently works as an independent consultant in technology and innovation.

Francisco Rodríguez Arias, Advanced Project Manager at Wolfram Research South America will also be present. Roy Álvarez, Director of International Development for Latin America and the Caribbean at Wolfram will be the moderator of the meeting.
