April 14: "Climate Change: Recent conclusions of the IPCC and its relevance for Latin America" Webinar

Continuing the series of virtual meetings on Climate Change carried out by the RedCLARA community, the "Recent conclusions of the IPCC and its relevance for Latin America" webinar will be held on April 14 at 4pm GMT.

On this occasion, the most important conclusions on the last three reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which focused on global warming of 1.5C, land use and food security, cryosphere, among other aspects, will summarized. The most relevant results for Latin America will be described, including the discussion of options for adaptation and mitigation of Climate Change.

The expert Carolina Vera, PhD from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) with orientation in Atmospheric Sciences, and vice president of Group 1 of the IPCC, is the main speaker invited for the meeting.
