In order to promote Latin American successful experiences on tele-medicine/e-health, on September 12th will take place the e-Health Virtual Day organized by RedCLARA, in collaboration with the academic networks from Brazil (Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa, RNP), Panama (Red Científica y Tecnológica de Panamá, RedCyT) and Venezuela (Red Académica Nacional de Venezuela, Reacciun).
The event, that will be held on Wednesday September 12th through videoconference, will involve the participation of Manuel Rubio del Solar of the Energy, Environment and Technology Research Center from Spain, Félix Mosquera of the University of Panama, Hector Arrechedera of the Central University of Venezuela, Eduardo Romero of the National University of Colombia and Luiz Ary Messina of the Telemedicine University Network of Brazil. On September 5th to 7th the Colombian national network will transmit the International ICT Congress, ANDICOM, an event that will take place in the city of Cartagena de Indias and that aims to facilitate and promote the relationship between buyers and sellers of Information and Communications Technology to enhance the economic development of the companies and the efficiency of the state institutions.
