If TNC is the major conference of the European academic networks, Internet2 conferences play that role in North America. And the October 2012 edition was no exception; in the activity the leaders of the NRENs of Brazil (RNP), Chile (REUNA) and Mexico (CUDI), and of RedCLARA marked its presence. The Executive Director of RedCLARA participated in two relevant panel sessions.
Submitted by I-CHASS, the Pan-American Summer Institute (PASI), will receive a almost one hundred thousand dollars for its development in Guatemala in July 2013. The activity will bring together 40 participants from the Americas to offer training on Methods of Computation-Based Discovery (CBD), with the collaboration of XSEDE, NCSA, AVL, ARTCA, RedCLARA and OAS.
This activity, which will be held on Wednesday 24, October, 2012, between 15:00 and 17:00 hours GMT aims to offer to the participants the opportunity to learn about successful experiences of scientific collaboration in High Energy Physics in Latin America.
