In order to promote a reflection on the use of advanced networks and technology for the production of arts, especially the creation of performing arts, on March 16, 2012, at 16h (GMT) MAPA D2 Community will launched the project Reflective Action with the videoconferencing 'Art in the network: Experiences between Konic Thtr (Barcelona) and the Research Group Poéticas Tecnológicas  (Salvador)', in room 106 of the CPD - UFBA.

This is an initiative of the Research Group Poéticas Tecnológicas of the Federal University of Bahia in partnership with Konic Thtr and supported by i2Cat (Spain), RNP (Brazil) and RedCLARA. The meeting aims to share the experience of two artistic collectives in the development of telematic performances in dance, and promote a reflective space on the challenge of creating art on the Internet.

The videoconference will be transmitted from Barcelona - Spain, and there will be rooms available in countries such as Portugal, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Bolivia. In Brazil will participate researchers, artists and professionals from the cities of Salvador, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre and Brasilia.

The Reflective Action project will hold a series of videoconferences to promote a dialogue on the languagesof art and digital culture as well as promoting the exchange of experiences in the field of art mediated by technology.
