On this ocasion, some prominent university researchers from various countries of the region will present their views and experiences on IoT.
Because of a series of conferences that will address the impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Latin America, RedCLARA and LACNOG will held on July 6, between 14:30 and 17:30 GMT, the Virtual Day on Internet of Things in Latin America. The event will feature speakers from Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
All the interested are invited to participate by videoconference or streaming, and discuss the role of IoT in areas such as research and development, trade, industry and standardization.

The conference will be held between September 13 and 15, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The meeting, an initiative of the mexican advanced network, CUDI, in partnership with RedCLARA, will take place via videoconference and streaming from Mexico at 10h (GMT-5) and addresses issues concerning the sixth edition of the Conference. All the interested people are invited to participate.
On May 11, the Brazilian National Research and Educational Network (RNP), the Academic Network of the State of São Paulo (ANSP) and the Florida International University (FIU) announced the delivery of the first international 100G connection between Latin America and the United States.
