Because of a series of conferences that will address the impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Latin America, RedCLARA and LACNOG will held on July 6, between 14:30 and 17:30 GMT, the Virtual Day on Internet of Things in Latin America. The event will feature speakers from Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

All the interested are invited to participate by videoconference or streaming, and discuss the role of IoT in areas such as research and development, trade, industry and standardization.

buenosairesThe meeting, an initiative of the mexican advanced network, CUDI, in partnership with RedCLARA, will take place via videoconference and streaming from Mexico at 10h (GMT-5) and addresses issues concerning the sixth edition of the Conference. All the interested people are invited to participate.


In this Information Day, Luis Alberto Gutierrez, General Coordinator of Information Technology of the University of Guadalajara, President of the Board of Directors of CUDI and member of the Programme Committee of TICAL2016, along with Carmen Gloria Labbé, Deputy CEO of RedCLARA, will present to the academic and research community of Mexico, the objectives and themes of the Conference, and, of course, the benefits that RedCLARA offers to ensure the participation of those whose submitted proposals to the calls result selected.

The TICAL Conference will hold its sixth edition in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between September 13 and 15. Unique in its kind, since 2011 TICAL brings together the Directors of Information and Communication Technologies in Latin America to discuss the issues that compromise their role and work at the universities in the region and strengthen the continuous improvement of the institutions.
