Almost one year after the EU-CELAC Summit and the launch of the European Union's Global Gateway Investment Agenda (GGIA) in Latin America and the Caribbean, representatives of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance Member States met in Madrid (Spain) on July 9 to review the achievements, lessons learned, and challenges in implementing the Agenda.
The annual meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean community of research and education networks, organized by RedCLARA, already has a date for its new edition. TICAL2024 will be held from December 3 to 5 at the Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, with the support of Brazil's National Research and Education Network (NREN), RNP.

The Delegation of the European Union in Guatemala, the National Research and Education Network of Guatemala, the National Secretariat of Science and Technology (Senacyt), the University of the Valley of Guatemala, and the Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks (RedCLARA) spearheaded the establishment of the National Copernicus Academy Committee of Guatemala today. This event took place within the framework of the BELLA II project, in close collaboration with the EU Space Support Office and EUreCA.
The progress of the implementation of the Copernicus Academy in Central America, RedCLARA's efforts to create a digital ecosystem in the region through the BELLA II Project and the details of the regional network's revamped portal are some of the highlights of the 55th edition of the DeCLARA Bulletin, RedCLARA's quarterly publication, now available online.
Nominations for the Postel Award, organised by the Internet Society and presented annually to an individual or organisation that has made outstanding and sustained contributions in service to the Internet community, will be open until Friday, 12 July.
