“Thanks to RedCLARA, Latin American researchers are now an integral part of the global research community. It is well known that high speed research networks encourage cross-border collaboration, creating a global scientific community that pools resources for more efficient and effective research. RedCLARA’s interconnection with Europe has created new opportunities for Latin American researchers to work with their European colleagues.”

Thematic meetings aim to offer to the participants a space of review and discussion on topics of interest defined within the community.
“In any grid solution is important the communication speed between servers and compute nodes, which is why RedCLARA could facilitate an optimum communications infrastructure. Furthermore RedCLARA also represents diverse communities of researchers who may be interested in using this new service.”
“RedCLARA is the advanced network established in Latin America for regional interconnection and linked to the European GÉANT network. RedCLARA is the e-infrastructure for collaborative research and education providing a first-class platform to support both regional development and cooperation between Latin American and European Researchers”, speech given at the ALICE2 Launch by Mário Campolargo, Director for «Emerging Technologies and Infrastructures», European Commission, Information Society and Media Directorate-General. DeCLARA, June 2010.
