The BELLA Project: The EllaLink landing station nears completion
João Nuno Ferreira - General Coordinator of the Portuguese NREN, the FCCN Unit of FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology - visited the Sines station, designed to accommodate the EllaLink submarine cable, and revealed some details about this structure.

Copernicus: technology allied to Earth observation
Monitoring of the decrease in air pollution during the coronavirus pandemic, of climate change and of forest fire alerts. These are some of the interesting activities and research for Brazil and for the world that make use of the data generated by the Copernicus project. This program of the European Commission counts on the international cooperation of various countries, including Brazil, Colombia and Chile in Latin America.
Educational institutions are being forced to make a major change due to the new Coronavirus pandemic. Certainly, the transformation process was accelerated in a few years, due to the urgent need for teaching to have to break the geographical, technological and, the most difficult one, the customs barriers.
