El Salvador and Panama will host the next BELLA II Open Strategic Dialogues in October and November, respectively, with the aim of contributing to the consolidation of the digital ecosystem, the generation of innovative value proposals, and the promotion of meaningful connectivity at the national and regional levels.

The flagship High-Performance Computing (HPC) conference in Latin America, CARLA, celebrated its tenth edition with the participation and contributions of members of academics, researchers, experts, and graduate students from around the world, who gathered in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, from September 18-22. 

 

RedCLARA's 2022 Annual Report is now available for review and download on the regional network's website. Among other topics, the document highlights the celebration of the successful completion of the BELLA program and the launch of the BELLA II project, which aims to extend the benefits of the initiative to more countries in Latin America and the Caribbean; the achievements and results of the first edition of the "Dialogue on the Challenges and Opportunities of Digital Transformation" in the region; and the signing of international alliances to strengthen cooperation in areas such as cybersecurity and earth observation.

The flagship conference of National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) in Latin America and the Caribbean is back. After a hiatus in 2022, TICAL will return in 2023 bringing together decision-makers, strategic partners, researchers, teachers, and academics to discuss the role of national networks in the digital transformation of education, research, and innovation.
