RedCLARA and RNIE share knowledge and experience in the 4th EDUTIC Congress

Innovation is relevant for the modernization, sustainability, and quality of education, thus educational institution has to be prepared to manage it. This important topic will be in the spotlight during the 4th EDUTIC Congress, which will be held from 25 to 27 abril on-line modality, with the participation of regional experts and internationally renowned speakers, including RedCLARA and its member RNI representatives.

Education management, the LifeLong Learning trend, innovation and transfer, student experience, the role of teaching, and STEAM methodology are some of the main topics to be addressed at the congress.

RedCLARA and the national research and education networks REUNA (Chile), CEDIA (Ecuador), and RENATA (Colombia) will lead different spaces on the agenda about science, technology, education, and innovation.

The academic relations manager of RedCLARA, Tania Altamirano, who has led and managed several international projects, will give a presentation entitled "Academic Networks in Latin America, enhancing the Development of Science and Academia in the Region," on 25 April.

On Tuesday 26th, the coordinator of academic projects of RedCLARA, Laura Castellana, and the CEDIA’s training coordinator, Javier Valdiviezo, will share a virtual podium to talk about the “Regional Training Platform” and the international quality certifications, supported by RedCLARA and the NRENs. Currently, a certification on digital transformation in education and another on digital transformation in Industry 4.0 is already open on the platform. More training is planned, all with blockchain certification.

“The contribution of collaborative work to the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations” will be the topic of the lecture given in parallel by Rafael Rodríguez, executive director of RENATA. Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) emphasizes the importance of partnerships and collaborative work to achieve this agenda that the world has set for 2030, which seeks development in all its dimensions (economic, social, and environmental), leaving no one behind.

The executive director of REUNA, Paola Arellano, will also be sharing a presentation on how the National Research and Education Network of Chile is driving digital development in R&E in that country.
