EC ISOC public consultation about digital dividend

your voice"Transforming the digital dividend opportunity into social benefits and economic growth in Europe" is the title of the study that started on July 10th and that until September 4th will receive the response of all citizens and organizations interested in participate.

From July 10th the General Directorate for Information Society and Media of the European Commission is developing the public consultation "Transforming the digital dividend opportunity into social benefits and economic growth in Europe" with the purpose of obtaining comments and views from all interested stakeholders on the use of the Digital Dividend radio spectrum released through the transition to digital terrestrial television. It outlines proposals being considered as part of the planned European Union roadmap, both for short term action as well as longer-term policy debate, in order to assist the Commission in finalizing these proposals.

The consultation is directed to all citizens and organizations interested in participate. Contributions are sought particularly from private citizens, from representatives of Member States' authorities, broadcasters, wireless and mobile operators, the programme-making and special events community, and other users or potential users of radio spectrum affected by the Digital Dividend policy actions.

How to participate?

Sending your response to the email address: infso-b-4-ext@ec.europa.eu, mentioning clearly in the subject line "Digital Dividend Public Consultation" and specifying identification details such as name, the name of the organization (if applicable) and contact details.

The deadline for submitting responses is September 4th and received contributions will be published on the website of the Directorate-General for Information Society and Media.
