Telematic dance performance unites Brazil and Spain
Fortaleza, Natal and Barcelona will get connected on Tuesday, October 6th through 'e-Pormundos Afeto', a presentation that integrates art and technology. The activity is an expression of telematic dance and its development articulates dancers located in remote environments with a robot, and the Internet audience will participate in the scene, which will appear as avatars (3D animation).

Francesco De Mattia, Artistic Coordinator of the ASTRA project (Ancient Instruments Sound / Timbre Reconstruction Application) and Lost Sounds Orchestra, invites the community united by CLARA and ALICE2Project to attend remotely, to the demo performed in the context of GARR Conference 09 - Network Humanitatis, on September 30 at 16:00 GMT.
The activities are part of the work done by the e-CienciAL project (OAS / FEMCIDI / CLARA) and consist of the implementation of two thematic meetings. The first will be held on September 29th and will cover the basic principles for developing a Grid, while the second will take place on October 13th and will address the experiences of Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico.
This important recognition, sponsored by the Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks (CLARA), institution that gathers 13 countries in the region, was for the Venezuelan investigator, Jacinto Dávila, due to his participation in the “Delphi Poll on e-Science in Latin America".
