The Executive Director of RAICES was elected along with Alejandro Guzman Giraldo and Hartmut Richard Glaser through electronic voting that took place on November 10th to 20th and that involved the participation of institutions that are members of the Registry. CLARA congratulated the winning candidates.
Under the concept of Science and Education on the Net, since November 26, the National University Network of Chile, has a new logo and a renewed website that aim to reflect, in a more efficient way, the objectives, services, applications and the possibilities offered by the institution to its members.
Dr. Alvaro de la Ossa will assist to the 1st Central American Symposium of the CADAN: R Network entitle "Management of the Interdisciplinary and Collaborative Research," to be held in San Jose on November Thursday 26 and Friday 27, where will developed a conference about RedCLARA and ALICE2 project.
The published material includes the five presentations that were developed during the activity and can be seen on the website of the academic network in Mexico. Among the topics discussed in the event is the epidemiology of the disease in Mexico and the world, some experiences in the management of the disease and the role of information technology to an epidemiological emergency.
During the event, technical representatives and directors of the National Research and Educational Networks of Latin American members of ALICE2 and CLARA will have the opportunity to discuss about current projects and future courses of action.
The Map and the Arts Program (and performance) Digital in Dance (MaPA D2) invites all members of the National Research and Education Networks connected to RedCLARA to participate on Friday, November 13th, in the event "TeDANCE, Perspectives on dance in the technological expansion", coordinated by Professor Daniel Tercio, from Faculty of Human Movement, Lisbon, Portugal.
