May 19, 2 PM GMT: "Impact of ICT in the Macrouniversities of Latin America and the Caribbean" Conversational workshop

This workshop will be held organized by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with the aim of contributing to the promotion of new collaboration models in the macrouniversities of Latin America and the Caribbean through the development and use of Information and Communication Technologies.

From this first meeting (there is a second scheduled for May 2022), a platform for regional collaboration in ICT will be generated on three lines of work: 1) ICT governance and management strategies, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2) Artificial intelligence and its applications, and 3) Innovative models of technology-mediated teaching (mixed, distance, open, online, hybrid).

The three collaborative groups (corresponding to the lines of work mentioned above) must present the results of their work in the workshop that will be held in 2022, where feedback from the rectors of the macro-universities will be obtained in order to prepare the closure of this stage and thus show its achievements and conclusions at the Network assembly in November 2022.

The Workshop "Impact of ICT in the Macrouniversities of Latin America and the Caribbean" will be broadcast live on the UNAM channel on YouTube. For more information, please visit https://www.taller-tic.redmacro.unam.mx/
