The registration for the activity, which will take place between 4 and 8 April 2011 in Mexico City, Mexico, will be open until December 31, 2010. It will also be possible to apply for scholarships through an online form .

SSIG

After two successful meetings in Buenos Aires in 2009 and in Sao Paulo in 2010, the Federal District of Mexico will host the 2011 edition of the South School on Internet Governance.

The objective of the activity, to be held between 4 and 8 April 211, is to train new leaders of opinion in all aspects of Internet governance from a global perspective and with focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, the program will train graduate and postgraduate students of the region and around the world on issues related to Internet governance and its importance in the future of the Internet.

The extensive agenda will include in the five days of work topics such as IPv6, the legal aspects of security and Internet privacy and freedom of expression, electronic commerce, new business opportunities, protection of intellectual property, fighting cybercrime, digital divide and its impact on the development of Internet and its future.

Registration for the activity will be open until December 31, 2010 and will be possible to apply for scholarships through an online form .
