With over 8,000 participants from more than 100 countries, the participation of Ecuador’s national research and education network at the NAFSA Conference will raise the profile of Ecuadorian academia and foster direct connections with decision-makers, universities and international peers.

CEDIA’s participation in NAFSA – 26 to 29 May in Orlando, Florida – is not an isolated event, but rather the continuation of a strategy that seeks to position the country as an active player in the global knowledge ecosystem.

This effort is reflected in CEDIA’s intensive international work and its numerous international missions, the most recent of which took place in April in China, with the participation of 29 Ecuadorian academic leaders who engaged in dialogue with their peers and shared experiences, amongst other valuable exchanges.
