The EU–LAC Digital Accelerator is keeping its international call for applications open until 12 June 2026 to accelerate partnerships between corporations and start-ups in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, with the aim of bringing innovative digital solutions to a higher level of maturity and market reach.

The programme, funded by the European Union, offers specialised support in internationalisation, proof of concept (PoC), investment readiness and scaling, as well as grants of up to €10,500 for start-ups developing pilot projects alongside their corporate partners.

This call represents a strategic opportunity for RedCLARA’s partner National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), as well as for universities, research centres and public bodies involved in digital innovation. The networks can participate as corporate partners, technology facilitators or ecosystem coordinators, promoting the development of solutions in areas such as advanced connectivity, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital services for science and education.

The call aligns directly with the objectives of the BELLA II project, which seeks to strengthen the digital ecosystem in Latin America and the Caribbean and its close links with that of Europe, and to promote the strategic use of advanced connectivity infrastructures and digital services between both regions. In this context, the EU–LAC Digital Accelerator offers a concrete space to transform network and research capabilities into applied solutions with regional impact.

Applications may be submitted jointly or individually, as the programme features a matching platform that connects corporate challenges with start-ups and technology players from both regions.
