 (Source: RNP) The Federated Academic Community (CAFe), an RNP (the Brazilian National Research and Education Network,) service that brings together teaching and research institutions into a network of trust, now has a new service provider: Readex, a repository of historical publications from various parts of the world.

As a division of the portal of contents Newsbank, Readex Readex offers, by signing, access to an archive of historical newspapers, containing publications from Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean, from the 19th century to the early 20th century. This file makes a analysis of historical publications from time threads, which are scanned and cataloged to facilitate the search for information, contributing to the study of humanities and social sciences.
