In May: 3rd International e-Science Meeting in Barranquilla, Colombia

The National Academic Network for Advanced Technology of Colombia, RENATA, in partnership with RUTA Caribe, invites the interested to pre-register for the 3rd International e-Science Meeting, to be held on the 13th and 14th of May of 2015 in Barranquilla, Colombia.

The event will gather speakers from Latin America and Europe, dealing with important issues for the development of Information and Communication Technologies in the region. The former dean of the Valencia Polytechnic, Justo Nieto (Spain), the executive director of RedCLARA, Florencio Utreras (Chile), the expert in project management financed by the European Union, Silvia Anastasia (Belgium), among others, are already confirmed.

Those interested in participating in the event should send their pre-registration for the meeting until March 31st, 2015. The submission, however, does not guarantee the personal participation. According to the organizers, invitations to participate in person are restricted to only 600 pre-registrants, who will assist the event with no cost. The invitation includes free entry in the rooms of the event, participation in the conferences, coffee breaks and lunches during the two days. On-site guests must pay only the costs of transportation and other personal expenses.

The other pre-registrants will receive an email with the information about the remote connection to the live broadcast through RENATA or the event website.
