The activity will take place on Thursday, June 11th, starting at 15h GMT. The event is organized by RedCLARA as part of the collaborative activities of the directors of technology members of the TICAL community.

At the Meeting, the experiences of the Central University of Venezuela and the services of the national networks of Brazil, Chile and Ecuador will be introduced and serve as a basis for the discussion about the state, in the in Latin-American universities, of the progress of the incorporation of identity federation services and the provision of services under a federation structure.

Additionally, this thematic meeting will initiate a study that also seeks to identify the needs related to ICT applications and services that these institutions want the providers to supply in a federated scheme, and establish lines of work between networks and the national institutions of research and higher education.

Those interested in participating through videoconference must complete the registration form until Tuesday, June 9th, and participate in the equipment testing session.
