Wolfram is one of the main companies in technical innovation and has a long-term vision for the development of science, technology and tools that can make computing an increasingly powerful force in the world. Among its pioneering technological advances in the last 27 years, are Mathematica, the most important technical computing program in the World; Wolfram | Alpha, a computable knowledge engine widely used and a growing family of highly innovative applications for cloud and web and mobile devices . The company is the main computing environment for million of innovators, educators, students and agencies around the world.

From this principle, Wolfram was considered by CEDIA as a strategic partner in the development of its activities as an organization and also in the achievement of its goals together with its member institutions at national level (more than 35).

CEDIA acquired 65,000 Wolfram licenses at the end of 2014 and, since then, has been delivering, free of charge, this tool for its member institutions, laboratories, teachers and students, in order to contribute to the development of quality education and research projects that leverage the immense human capital in the region.

The executive Director of CEDIA, Juan Pablo Carvallo, thanked the recognition of Wolfram and seized the moment to reinforce the commitment of CEDIA with the new entrepreneurial and technological path of education and research in Ecuador.
