RedCLARA quadrupled the capacity of its backbone

Topology RedCLARA 01-2016Based on the new 10Gbps links activated during the second week of January 2016, RedCLARA increases four times the capacity of the central ring of its backbone.

The change in the backbone capacity from the 2.5 Gbps between Santiago (Chile), Panama (Panama) and Sao Paulo (Brazil) to 10 Gbps links between Santiago, Bogota (Colombia), Panama and Sao Paulo, was accompanied by the back-up of the duplicates roads for Bogota and the increasing of the capacity of the Uruguayan connection, which was completed on January 21.
