Dr. Cameron Neylon, known worldwide for its intense activity in defense of the Open Access movement, will be the keynote speaker of the day and will provide an international overview of the effect of open research practices in Global Science progress. Representatives of CLACSO, LA Referencia and CONICET, co-organizers together with the Ministry of Science, will share their perspectives on the current state of Open Access to scientific information and on the agreements reached in the world, in the region and in Argentina.

The program is primarily aimed at researchers, as creators and producers of scientific information to be available in Open Access according to the requirements of Law 26,899. It also has as a target audience the decision makers with responsibility for defining the institutional rules of the game (mandates, policies, incentives) to achieve the deposit of works and data in Open Access digital repositories to scientific-academic and society in general, both in Argentina and in the countries of the region.
