If there is somebody you think deserves recognition for their contributions to research and education networking, please submit a nomination to GÉANT Community Awards. Nominations can be submitted until midnight CET on Thursday 2 March 2017. The next Community Awards will be presented during the opening plenary session of the 2017 networking conference, TNC17, in Linz, Austria, on 30 May 2017.

Nominees could be an individual or small team of named individuals and should meet one or more of the following criteria: he /she shared an idea with the research and education networking community that developed into something significant such as a well-used tool or service; he / she made a significant contribution to a number of community activities over a sustained period; he / she has made significant contributions to important / recognisable developments within the past 12 months.

Nominations are welcome from: staff employed or sub-contracted by GÉANT, by GÉANT Project partner organisations, or by GÉANT member organisations (associates and national or representative members); national or continental research and education networking organisations from outside Europe; individuals who participate in one or more GÉANT task force, special interest group, or other GÉANT activities, whether by attending meetings or simply being on the mailing list; other individuals who have registered to attend TNC16.
