Terrestrial phase part of the BELLA Programme will launch its last tender in March 2021
The terrestrial phase of the BELLA Programme (BELLA-T), in charge of completing the infrastructure of the terrestrial optic fiber network of RedCLARA, will launch the BELLA-T005 tender in March, with which it will finalize the acquisition of the telecommunications equipment and necessary services to finish the project.
Upon completing the infrastructure of the terrestrial optic fiber network of RedCLARA, BELLA will provide a significant improvement of the backbone for research and education in Latin America. This improvement will ensure a huge advance in transcontinental capacity across the region and, through synergies with the National Research and Education networks of South America, will enhance capillarity and equal access to intercontinental services for all end users.
