With the support of the Chilean advanced network, REUNA, and the participation of its Executive Director, Paola Arellano, the Telemedicine Unit of the Universidad de Concepción, in Chile, will take place on December 6 and 7, 2019 , the International Congress of Telemedicine, Telehealth and Digital Health. The event will be held at the MDS Hotel (Ex Hotel Sonesta).

The main objective of the Congress is to convene the community of academics, clinicians, researchers, industry and health-related organizations that participate in the processes of care, management and monitoring of patient care using technology, both from Chile and the rest of the world. Paola Arellano will participate in the panel “Trends and challenges of the Health of the Future”. Other prominent panelists are Dale Alverson (USA), Peter Scanlon (England) and Marcial Rojo (Spain), among others.

Among the topics addressed will be Telehealth and Medical Education, Telemedicine and Health 4.0, Clinical Applications and Success Cases in Telemedicine, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applied to Telehealth.
