RedCLARA doubled its peering capacity with Google

The service, available to the national research and education networks connected to RedCLARA from March 1, 2017, increased its capacity by 100% with the establishment of a second interface in the United States, to increase redundancy and reduce latency for the countries of Central America.

This new peering, established in Miami, adds to the 10 Gbps established in São Paulo, through the RedCLARA backbone; these peerings allow members of academic networks to reach Google content faster, including all public services, such as the search engine, Gmail, Youtube or the business suite.
