We have an enormous emptiness in our hearts ... today our colleague and dear friend Marcela Larenas Clerc has taken her way to Heaven.

Beyond the positions and innumerable functions that Marcela carried out and in which she always suceed in RedCLARA, she shined among us for her strength, lucidity, wisdom, nobility and deep human quality.

Marcela was all love and dedication, she knew how to be a friend, collaborator, partner and many times the mother of some of the members of our team. Her big hugs, her contagious laughter, her advices and delicacy in her manners, will be missed as much as her strong conviction when fighting for regional collaboration and support for the scientific and academic world.

Marcela, we have the emptiness of not having you near, the certainty of knowing you are irreplaceable, the pain of your early departure. We cling to the memory of your incorruptible joy after our last TICAL, to the image of your face full of laughter when last September you walked in the hotel in Cartagena hand in hand with Enrique, your husband, and you shouted "he is my boyfriend! , my boyfriend!", and the strength you always gave us to overcome all the difficulties that the road gives us.

It is not easy to say goodbye, dear and charming Marcela ... it is not.
