With the support of RedCLARA, DISI2018 will discuss internet fraud and Fake News

The 2018 edition of the International Day of Computer Security (DISI), organized by RNP with the support of RedCLARA, will have as its theme "Virtual frauds, real crimes", addressing the main types of fraud that can be suffered on the web. The event is free and will be held at the National Confederation of Trade Workers (CNTC), in Brasília-DF, on August 30.

The event brings together experts to share their knowledge and, in this way, educate internet users about information security. This year, debates about the various types of attacks and threats on the internet, which can cause both financial and personal losses, are highlighted in the programme. Topics include hijacking information, stealing financial information online, exposing personal information, and sharing ‘Fake news’. The lectures will also guide users on how to avoid further harm to these threats.

All the sessions will be broadcasted live and soon made available at DISI Portal - www.disi.rnp.br - where you can also find more information about the event.
